RARE AND UNIQUE TRAMP ART TWO PIECE DOLL’S BEDROOM SET.

Circa 1932, American. The set comprised of a carved bed; the headboard and footboard each decorated with a pair of doves separated by a bell above a pair of hearts with the carved date of “1932”. Raised on faceted bed posts surmounted by obelisk finials. Fitted with a custom tufted mattress. The matching vanity with mirror similarly decorated and dated. The central mirror swiveling on supports carved with rows of layered zig zag decoration joined to side galleries above two banks of three drawers with molded edge and obelisk knobs. The case sides with rows of raised diamonds alternating with saw-tooth raised rows of carving. SIZE: Bed 10″ t x 16″ l x 10-1/2″ w. Vanity 22″ t x 18″ w x 9-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Surfaces all original with mellow nut brown patina, no restoration or damage noted. Some very minor spots of abrasion and minor flecking along edges.
