Early 20th century, American. The case in one piece of typical carved, stepped decoration. The undulating crest with stepped rosettes above the conforming case fitted with a pair of cabinet doors, each with decorated pierced tin panels of rondels and diamonds centering a five-pointed star above the hinged lid decorated with large stepped rondels centering an elongated diamond opening to a simple interior fitted with compartments, above a pair of cupboard doors, each decorated with a five pointed star, opening to an interior of fixed shelves. The case sides carved and decorated in a similar manner. The whole in black paint with gold paint highlights. SIZE: 78″ h x 44″ w x 19″ d. CONDITION: Structurally sound and tight.
