*L.C. SMITH FIELD GRADE 20 GA SHOTGUN WITH CONDITION.SN FWE 45706. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ bbls. 2-1/2″ chambers. Chokes Ex Full/Full. Full length matted top rib with brass front bead. Featherweight frame, dbl triggers, extractors, non-auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with added oval near toe and 14-1/8″ LOP over serrated lined HRBP. Splinter forearm is friction type checkered in three-point pattern. Case colored frame marked “L.C.Smith” on sides. Weight: 6 lbs. 3 oz. Accompanied by an L.C. Smith Collectors Association letter describing this gun in its current configuration. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially restored. Bbl retains nearly all of a professionally restored rust blued finish. Receiver retains nearly 85% orig case color, toned on front of action at bottom. Trigger guard retains most of its high polish orig blue. Buttstock with oval as noted above is excellent and retains approximately 90% of its orig finish. Forearm is very good, having been competently restored, checkering freshened, and a small area of finish added near frame. Mechanics are very good.
