*SCARCE COLT NEW SERVICE .38 SPECIAL WITH BOX.

SN 335336. Cal. 38 Spl. 6″ bbl. Blue finish overall with checkered walnut grips with rampant Colt medallions. Accompanied by numbers matching Colt box, and factory letter. PROVENANCE: The Charles Copeland, Jr. Collection. Factory letter indicates ordered by Phil Bekeart, San Francisco, CA, 1934. And verifies configuration. CONDITION: Very fine overall with minor muzzle wear and slight loss of finish at high points of frame. Grips are very fine with 2 very minor dings at leading edge of butt. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Action is stiff from dried grease.
