WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 LEVER ACTION MUSKET. Cal. 30 US (30-40). “US” marked musket with 28″ round bbl, full-length wood forearm with upper hand guard, musket rear sight and split front band with bayonet lug. Wood is uncheckered with straight stock and smooth steel buttplate with trap. Stock has a musket style swivel with the front swivel integral with the middle band. Accompanied by an original Winchester marked 1895 style short knife-bayonet with leather and steel sheath. SN 8877. CONDITION: Excellent, plus. Retains virtually all its finish to both metal and wood except on the magazine box, which is a thin silver-blue with about 80% thin blue on the sides. Wood is sound.
