LOT OF 9 FIGURAL NAPKIN RINGS.

1) A proud peacock lends support to a napkin holder with space for an engraved monogram or name. Marked “Meriden B. Company #151”. Plate 235. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 2) An Australian napkin ring of a kookaburra bird. Not of the Victorian era; it is marked “EPNS” which stands for electroplated on nickel-silver “Made in Australia #77”. Plate 185. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 3) A parakeet perches on the stem of a pair of leaves which are placed overlapping to form the base for the napkin holder. No makers mark or numbers. Plate 208. CONDITION: Silver is fair to good. 4) A long-tailed bird rests upon the stem of a large leaf, its tips creating the feet that support the napkin holder. Marked “Meriden B. Company #202”. Plate 209. CONDITION: Silver is fair to good. 5) A matching pair of small eagles is mounted on either side of a napkin holder on a plain, rectangular base. Marked “Rogers Smith & Co. #146”. Plate 214. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 6) A small bird sits among flowers and branches which tumble down the front of the napkin holder; then the branches form the base. Marked “Meriden B. Company #248”. CONDITION: Silver is good. 7) A long-tailed bird with outstretched wings perches atop napkin holder with ball feet. No makers mark or numbers. CONDITION: Silver is good. 8) A small owl sits on a wishbone which also forms the base for the napkin holder. Marked “The Van Bergh SP Co. #89”. Page 30. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 9) An owl stands on an open book by napkin holder. Marked “Meriden B. Company #282”. Plate 289. CONDITION: Silver is good.
