FINE PARKER GRADE ONE HAMMER GUN.SN 47105. Cal. 12 Ga. 30″ laminated steel bbls. No. 1 frame. 2-5/8″ chambers. Dbl triggers, extractors. Single steel bead with Damascus top rib marked “PARKER BROTHERS, MAKERS. MERIDEN, CONN. LAMINATED STEEL”. Straight top lever. Engraved and checkered in standard Grade One pattern. “Parker Brothers” on both locks. Splinter forend. Full pistol grip stock with 14-1/4″ LOP over orig hard rubber Parker Bros. dogs-head buttplate. Drop at heel – 2-13/16″. Drop at comb -1-3/4″. Bore diameter: left -.734, right -.735. Chokes: left -.014, right -.007. Minimum wall thickness: L-.019 R-.025. Weight 7 lbs. 4 oz. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 98% plus deeply contrasted, laminated pattern. Bores very good with right tube showing scattered minor pits, left tube near excellent with repaired minor dents in both tubes. Slight bulge in right tube about 3″ in front of chamber. Lockplates retain nearly all of their orig case color, starting to tone and fade. Receiver retains 75-80% light orig case color. Trigger guard shows traces of orig blue, though mostly brown on bow and tang. Buttstock and forend retain most of their varnish with light handling wear throughout, likely an early sympathetic refinish – no loss with wood to metal fit. Mechanics excellent. Gun locks up tight.
