1) Parakeet sits on a flower-decorated perch, mounted on an ornate, Victorian fretwork. Marked “E.G. Webster & Bro. #167”. Plate 225. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 2) A matching pair of small eagles is mounted on either side of a napkin holder on a plain, rectangular base. Marked “Meriden B. Company #146”. Plate 214. CONDITION: Silver is good. 3) Fork-tailed bird on tiered rectangular base holds ring atop his wings. Large fan, handle up, rests against the ring. Marked with a button, “Rogers & Bro. #346”. Page 39. CONDITION: Most silver is gone. 4) A parrot with glass eyes sits on a perch atop a napkin holder supported by a sawhorse. Maker and number not marked. Plate 228-left. CONDITION: Silver is fair. 5) A bird with a deeply forked tail perches on raised, rectangular base. Napkin holder rests on fretwork. Marked “Knickerbocker Silver Co. #219”. CONDITION: Silver is good. 6) A spread-winged bird perches on ball in front of napkin holder on a short pedestal. On raised, round base with fancy fretwork. Marked “Hamilton Mfg. Co. #41”. CONDITION: Silver is good. 7) A matching pair of small birds are mounted on either side of bead-edged napkin holder, on raised, rectangular base. Marked “Knickerbocker Silver Co. #206”.
