REGENCY INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE.

Early 19th century, England. The rectangular, chamfered top with bowed ends, cross-banded edges, and string inlaid borders centering a large figured mahogany oval inlay within satinwood string-banded border. The demilune hinged leaves with conforming crossbanded edge above the apron with bowfront drawer and opposing sham drawer with cockbeaded edges. Raised on square tapered legs terminating in brass-capped casters. SIZE: 28″ h x 29-1/2″ l x 19″ w closed. CONDITION: Table retains older surface. Top and leaves with oxidized spots corresponding with hinge screws. Retains original brasses. Loss of molded edge along apron base to tops of three legs.
