Lot consists of: 1) Pair of small pommel cantina saddle bags marked Heinrich Maker, Mason, Texas. 2) Pair of military saddle bags marked Rock Island Arsenal 1910. 3) Batwing chaps with concho decorations made by N. Porter, Phoenix, Arizona. 4) U.S. belt and saber hanger with U.S. buckle, inspectors mark on billet. 5) U.S. prairie cartridge belt, marked Watervliet Arsenal, U.S. inspected. 6) Mills cartridge belt Span Am War vintage, U.S. buckle. 7) Saddle scabbard marked Stelzig Saddlery Company, Houston, Texas. 8) Saddle scabbard marked W.H. Clay, Brownsville, Texas on both sides. 9) Saddle scabbard marked Padgitt Brothers, Dallas, Texas. 10) Scabbard marked H.P.C. Evers, Brady, Tex. 11) Scabbard no apparent makers mark. 12) Scabbard for M1 Grand Rifle, marked U.S. with metal bolt throat. 13) Scabbard marked Troy Howard Cotulla, Tex. 14) Scabbard unmarked. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G.W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: 1) Very good. Bags are intact, finish is crazed. 2) Good. Right bag has been repaired on seam. 3) Very good. Hooks are intact, belt is intact, pockets are good. 4) Very good. Totally intact, buckle shows vertigre stain. 5) Very good. Loops are intact, billet is good, buckle is good. 6) Very good. Loops are intact. 7) Good. Seam is intact, mark is clear, some horse sweat damage. 8) Very good. Seam is intact, straps are crazed. 9) Fair. Mark is clear, considerable horse sweat damage. 10) Very good. Seam is intact, mark is clear, some crazing to leather. 11) Good. Seam has been repaired, shows heavy saddle use. 12) Good.
