BURLWOOD & MARQUETRY INLAID GEORGIAN TEA CADDY.Early 19th Century. The rectangular tea caddy having a beveled sloped top with inlaid spray of flowers in multiple colors against a dark background. Other burl & line inlays throughout. The hinged lid opens to reveal two removable canisters with lids (knobs missing), the center compartment fixed with a round opening for glass canister which is not present. The whole resting on four decorative brass feet. SIZE: 7-1/2″ h x 13″ w x 6-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Some old repairs, veneer cracks, generally good. 51376-51 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 2378
