LOT OF 4 FIGURAL NAPKIN RINGS.1) A young boy pulls with reins a four-wheeled cart, which carries a napkin holder, open salt and pepper shaker. An elaborate scroll cradles the napkin holder. Marked “Meriden B. Company. #28”. Plate 414. CONDITION: Although a little dark, it is good, original silver. 2) Stylized, winged griffins are framed as parts of the handle of the napkin ring. All on a raised, round base. Marked (on a coin) “Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co”. No numbers. Plate 622. CONDITION: Silver is good. 3) Unusual geometric designs on either side of this napkin ring support the napkin holder with a handle overhead. Marked “Meriden B. Company #245”. CONDITION: Silver is very good. 4) A pair of heralds holding clarions is mounted on each side of the napkin holder. The napkin holder is small; child-sized. All rests on a plain, rectangular base. Markings on base are illegible. Plate 672. CONDITION: Silver is pretty much gone on this piece.
