Rib marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS MERIDEN, CT U.S.A. SPECIAL STEEL”. Bbl flats marked “SKEET IN SKEET OUT”. Beautifully figured American walnut stock is full pistol grip with “PARKER BROS MERIDEN, CONN”. grip cap. 14-3/8″ LOP over Parker Brothers dogs head buttplate. Checking in standard G grade pattern. Beavertail forend. Frame is engraved in typical GHE pattern; flying ducks on left, quail on right both surrounded by light scroll. Pheasants in circle on bottom. Bottom of frame engraved “PARKER” indicating Remington production. Bbl diameter: left – .617, right. 616. Choke: left -.007, right – .006. Weight 6 lbs. 7 oz. 1-3/4″ DAC, 2-1/2″ DAH. Wall thickness: left -.022, right -.025. Special Note: This item contains or is made of ivory. This information is located in the front section of our catalog. CONDITION: Excellent as refurbished. Likely an early Delgrego restoration with receiver retaining 95%+ restored case colors. Bbls show approximately 98-99% re-blued finish. Buttstock retains most of its hand rubbed oil finish. Buttplate is very good showing a few minor dings and chips. Replacement beavertail forend wood, though bbls do have a reinforced forend lug and reinforcement screw at end of beavertail. Mechanics crisp.
