GEORGIAN YEW AND OAK WINDSOR ARMCHAIR.Last quarter 18th century, England. Bowed crestrail with six cylindrical rods centering a pierced vasiform splat. All joined to medial rail continuing to arm with shaped grips raised on bobbin-turned angled supports centering a chestnut plank saddle seat raised on splayed baluster turned legs joined by an H-formed stretcher. SIZE: 39-1/2″ h of back x 16″ h of seat x 21″ w. CONDITION: Chair retains mostly original surface with naturally polished armrests and feet with dry crusty finish. Old nail repairs evident where hand grips join to arm supports. Proper right front leg re-attached and nailed to seat. Generally good. 51437-31 (200-300) – Lot 2370
