LOT OF 4 FIGURAL NAPKIN RINGS.1) A large, draped wingless cherub, seated on a tree stump, hangs onto a tasseled cord, which encircles the napkin holder on a round, raised base. Marked “Reed & Barton #1194”. CONDITION: Silver is good. 2) A wingless draped cherub wearing a cap with a feather sits atop a napkin holder and grasps reins to a butterfly, resting on a flower. A pair of leaves and two ball feet form the base. Marked with numbers “921”; no makers mark. Plate 455-center. CONDITION: Silver is fair to good. 3) Often called Baby Hercules; this napkin holder shows a large, naked baby pushing against a decorated, square napkin holder. The napkin holder is especially pretty. Marked “James W. Tufts #1548”. Plate 456. CONDITION: Silver is good. 4) Two large butterflies rest on a chased, round fan that supports the napkin holder. A circular rim under the base elevates the ring. Engraved “George”. Marked “Meriden B. Company #209”. Plate 486. CONDITION: Silver is good.
