Parker’s Meriden CT address and “ACME STEEL” are on upper left side of bbl. Bbl flats are stamped with steel type and weight. Left side of lump is stamped with SN. Typical Parker single trap action is filed in “A” grade style with single beads around fence. All correct numbers and marks are on water table. Action features gold-plated sgl trigger. Action is engraved with nearly full coverage scroll with floral highlights within scroll and geometric borders. “PARKER BROS” is engraved on riband at central portion of each side. A well cut floral bouquet is on trigger plate. Trigger guard bow is scroll engraved. SN is at grip. Nicely crotch figured American walnut capped pistol grip Monte Carlo buttstock measures 14-1/4″ over Silver type pad. Stock is embellished in typical “A” grade style with checkered side panels, and carved fleur-di-lis drop points. Checkering has fancy mullered borders with fleur-di-lis intrusions at top into butt. Composition grip cap has large inset gold oval engraved “S.G.” Matching large beavertail ejector forend has reinforcing bolt and typical Parker release. Ejector patent date is on iron. Bore diameter: .739. Bore restrictions: .032 (full). Wall thickness: -.068. Drop at heel: 1-15/16″, drop at rear of Monte Carlo: 1-7/16″, drop at comb: 1-7/16″. Weight: 8 lbs 8 oz. LOP: 14-1/4″. Nicely shaped and finished new made stocks retain about 95% of their gloss finish with a number of light marks and a fairly heavy large mark on left side butt at rear of Monte Carlo. Bore is excellent. Action is tight. Ejector is strong.
