WINCHESTER MODEL 1895 FLATSIDE DELUXE LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30US (30-40). Fine deluxe rifle with 28″ tapered round bbl, pedestal front sight, slot blank in the rear dovetail with a Lyman 21 side sight. Wood is highly figured walnut with checkered schnable tipped forearm and pistol grip stock with crescent steel buttplate. SN 485. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl retains 85-88% original blue, thin and dull over chamber area. Receiver and magazine box retain 70-75% thin original blue. Wood is sound with a large repair at the toe and retains most of a fine old professional refinish. Bright shiny bore. 4-46610 JR298 (2,500-4,000)
