ALBERT WEBSTER DAVIES (American, 1889-1967) NAIVE COLONIAL SCENE PAINTING.

Depicting a federal period mansion with adjacent buildings, behind a picket fence surmounted with urn finials. The street scene with horse drawn carriage, horse and rider, dog and three female figures on a cobblestone sidewalk. Oil on board, housed in a carved and burl paint decorated frame with linen liner, signed lower left “Davies”. Back retains label of “Uptown Gallery, Madison Ave, NY.” SIZE: 18″ x 24″.
