*GOLD INLAID CUSTOM PARKER BROS SC SINGLE BBL SHOTGUN.SN 199220. Cal 12 ga. 32″ Acme steel bbl with low profile matted ventilated rib and twin ivory beads. 2-3/4″ chambers. Full choke. Nickel plated checkered trigger, auto ejector, no safety. Custom capped full pistol grip buttstock of Claro Walnut with brass oval engraved “M”, checkered in fancy fleur-de-lis pattern with 14-1/8″ LOP over soft black “Kick-Eez” pad with three 1/4″ spacers. Custom wide trap forearm with Deeley release also checkered in fleur-de-lis pattern, perhaps by Fajen. Receiver is engraved in standard flowing floral and scroll SC pattern with added gold bird embellishment including gold duck on left, large gold pigeon on bottom and duck in gold on right. Bbl wedge with added scroll and punch dot shading. Weight: 8 lbs. 4 oz. PROVENANCE: The Forest R. Marshall Collection. Bbl retains nearly all of its restored blue finish with a couple of light spots and minor muzzle wear. Receiver retains approx 80% of restored cyanide case hardened finish, likely by Del Grego. Custom buttstock and forearm are excellent with minor handling marks and retain approx 95% of their custom finish. Minor chip behind top tang has been remedied with filler.
