19th Century. Molded edge lift top box with cotter pin hinges, small lock (no key). Interior fitted with an open till. Later Windsor green paint with the top having a profile view of a large black sperm whale. Along with the box comes a variety of sailor’s tools & accessories including two fids, three serving mallets, a wood cased compass, two leather hand grips, and more. SIZE: 6-1/2″ h x 18″ at widest x 9-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Old horizontal split in top, some light scuffs, generally very good. 51344-14 (400-600) – Lot 2342
