Please Note: Gun is identified in the Parker Gun and Serialization book as originally having 28″ barrels and pistol grip stock, now has 26″ barrels (probably reduced to this length) and straight stock – both of which were likely done at the time of restoration. *SCARCE PARKER GHE 20 GA SHOTGUN WITH CASE.SN 233345. Cal. 20 ga. 2-5/8″ chambers. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead. Chokes are Mod/Mod. #0 frame. Non-selective Miller sgl trigger, auto ejectors, auto safety. Straight grip buttstock with nickel-Shield engraved “M” of flame grained American Walnut checkered in three-point pattern with 14-1/8″ LOP over Parker DHBP. Splinter forearm checkered in standard GH pattern with Deeley release and steel tip. Receiver engraved in standard G grade pattern with pheasants on right and bottom, quail on left surrounded by light scroll. Housed in a light brown toe-under type case with maroon interior and modern Parker label. Case has cleaning rods and cleaning accessories. Weight: 6 lbs. 5 oz. PROVENANCE: The Forest R. Marshall Collection. CONDITION: Extremely fine as restored likely by Del Grego. Bbls retain nearly all of their restored rust-blued finish. Doll’s head ever so slightly rounded. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain nearly all of their professionally restored finish with a couple of scattered light handling marks. Receiver retains nearly all of its Del Grego cyanide restored case color. Bores are bright and shiny with minor orange peel. Mechanics are crisp, trigger works well, ejectors are in time.
