SN 231401. Cal 12 ga. 30″ Vulcan steel bbls. 2-5/8″ chambers. Choked Full/Full. Full length matted top rib with typical Vulcan steel legend and steel front bead. #1-1/2 frame and 4 lb. 3 oz unstruck bbl weight. Blued dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Capped full pistol grip buttstock with Nickel-shield near toe, checkered in two-point pattern and 14-1/4″ LOP over orig Parker Brothers DHBP. Splinter forearm checkered in standard VH pattern with Deeley release and steel tip. Frame engraved in zig-zag border pattern and marked “Parker Bros” on sides. Weight: 7 lbs. 11 oz. CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine and near mint, this gun would make an outstanding benchmark Parker by which to judge others. Bbls retain 96-98% orig blued finish with light scratching toward breech end. Rib extension shows most of its orig high-polish blue and most of the orig polish marks are visible at the breech end of bbls. Receiver retains nearly all of its dark, bold case hardening with a couple of light scratches and beginning toning on bottom towards forearm. Trigger guard retains around 70% orig blue with toning and flaking. Buttstock and forearm are excellent, and retain nearly all of their orig finish with minor handling marks. Buttplate with small chipping at toe. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp.
