Oil on canvas nautical scene shows an American three-mast black hulled ship flying the American flag sailing right to left past a lighthouse. Several other boats are seen sailing right to left on a green, white tip, wavy sea. Blue & pink highlighted cloud sky. Unsigned front but having an old & probably original title and artist pencil inscription on stretcher “Minot’s Ledge Light Painted by C Drew”. Housed in its original lemon gold antique frame. This lighthouse is southeast of Boston Harbor, off the town of Cohasset, MA and was a favorite subject matter for this artist. SIZE: 20″ x 30″. Overall: 25-1/2″ x 35-1/2″.
