*SCARCE EARLY WINCHESTER MODEL 42 SKEET SHOTGUN.SN 23601. Cal. 410 ga. 27-1/2″ bbl. 3″ chambers. Choke marked Skeet. Steel front bead. Blued trigger. Plain slab walnut stock checkered in two-point pattern with 13-7/8″ LOP over Winchester HRBP. Forearm checkered with diamond pattern on sides. Unengraved blued receiver. Weight: 5 lbs. 13 oz. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbl and frame retain nearly all orig blued finish. Magazine tube with approximately 80% orig blue. Buttstock and forearm are excellent with light handling marks and hunting bumps and retain most orig finish with some light finish added for preservation. Mechanics are excellent.
