Figure of a seated woman in peasant dress holding a broom, on a wooden plinth, on base under glaze signature J.S.B.V.W in monogram, Dulwich, 1927 Eng., “Marie – no. 28”. Jessamine S. Bray and Sybil V. Williams worked together at the Dulwich Pottery factory in the late 1920s and 30s. They were well known for their designs. SIZE: 9″ h.
