Oil on canvas depicts a half portrait of a seated man with thinning gray hair, bushy sideburns, wearing a brown coat & vest. Signed with an indiscernible monogram under which is “1799” approx. 8″ from bottom left corner. Housed in a later antique gesso decorated gilt frame with corner loss. SIZE: 30″ x 25″.
