*WINCHESTER LO-WALL TAKE-DOWN SPORTING RIFLE. Cal. 22LR. Standard grade rifle with 24″ #1 weight oct. bbl, ivory bead front sight with cut off sight in the rear dovetail, mounted with target scope blocks and a Lyman locking tang sight. The original forearm with black schnable tip has been amateurishly checkered and the buttstock is a replacement with high comb and cheek piece, checkered to match. SN 107545. CONDITION: As noted. The metal retains about 95% original blue, thin on the right side by the receiver. The lever retains about 30-40% strong case colors, the balance is silver. The wood retains most of its custom finish. Bright shiny bore. Mechanics need attention, the hammer does not cock on closing. 4-46630 JR142 (800-1,500)
