*WINCHESTER MODEL 52B SPORTER BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

SN 70923B. Cal. .22 LR. 24″ rnd bbl, Redfield front sight, adjustable Lyman receiver sight, blue finish, straight grained American walnut stock with checkered pistol grip and forend. Stock has cheekpiece, checkered steel shotgun buttplate, pistol grip cap, Winchester sling swivel mounts, and ebony forend cap. Bbl shows Winchester trademark and model with cal mark rolled on left rear of receiver. “WP” proof is stamped at the breech on the left side adjacent to the “WP” proof stamped on the receiver. Lyman receiver sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. SN is marked on forward left side of receiver and is written with electric pencil on bottom flat of bolt. Trigger guard is marked “Sporting” in front of trigger guard loop. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl shows a smooth plum/brown patina overall with some staining toward the muzzle and blue in protected areas. Front sight hood is missing. Bbl marks are sharp and clear. Bore is frosty with visible rifling. Receiver retains a considerable amount of a somewhat thinning matte blue finish. Bolt is bright with some scratch marks. Bolt handle is a smooth silver/gray patina with traces of blue in protected areas. Trigger guard is a smooth gray blue patina with sharp marking and evidence of light touch-up. Stocks are very good, with sharp checkering and minuscule dents and scratches overall. Stocks also show light touch-up to the varnish finish. Buttplate is a gray/blue patina overall and show evidence of a light touch-up to the finish. Sling swivel mounts show considerable blue.
