FINE DELICATE CENTENNIAL FEDERAL STYLE EAGLE INLAID SEWING STAND.

Early 20th century, American. The rectangular top with canted corners, molded edge and satinwood banding centering a large patriotic eagle inlay. The hinged top above the conforming frieze with string inlaid corners and shield shaped escutcheon beneath which is fitted a pleated beige satin sewing bag. The whole raised on delicate tapering square legs with tapering Marlborough feet. The frontal and rear legs each joined by an in-curved stretcher. SIZE: 31″ t x 20″ w x 15″ d. CONDITION: Table with an undisturbed original surface with rich brown patina, inlay vibrant and intact.
