PILGRIM CENTURY LARGE OVAL OAK GATE LEG TABLE.

Late 17th early 18th century, New England. The rectangular top with bowed edges with deep hinged demilune leaves with grooved joints projecting above the conforming apron with molded lower edge fitted with single drawer retaining original elongated mushroom knob raised on pronounced baluster-and ring-turned legs and stretchers terminating in padded turnip feet. SIZE: Closed 28-1/4″ h x 44″ l x 17″ w. Open 44″ w x 56-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Tabletop with old scrubbed finish. Table with traces of original Spanish Brown paint. Hinges original.
