DRAMATIC FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY SERPENTINE CARD TABLE.

First quarter 19th century, possibly New York. The deep serpentine sides with shortened elliptic front, the edges cross-banded above the conforming apron with figured mahogany veneers and an oval figural maple patera within a rectangle. The edges cross-banded. Raised on square tapering legs headed by birds eye maple inlaid panels and crossbanded cuffs tapering to pointed feet. SIZE: 29″ h x 35″ w x 19″ d.
