FINE SHERATON MAHOGANY AND BIRDS EYE MAPLE BOWFRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS.

First third 19th century, New England. The rectangular top with reeded edge, turret corners and bowfront above conforming case fitted with four bowfront long drawers with cockbeaded edges and with matching birdseye maple drawer fronts flanked by reeded pilasters continuing to swelled, ring-turned, tapering legs with ringed cuffs. Chest with shaped, scalloped apron and with complete set of good molded Sheraton brass hardware. SIZE: 40″ h x 41″ w overall x 19″ d. CONDITION: Professionally cleaned with French polish finish.
