LARGE COMPOSITION MOXIE STORE DISPLAY BOTTLE.

Scarce variant of these store displays seldom seen. This version features a metal bottle cap and an upper detachable section that lifts off to access the interior. The reverse side has two hinged curved door panels. The top portion of the original paper label reads “Beverage Moxie Nerve Food/Contains Not a Drop of Medicine, Poison, Stimulant or Alcohol”. Bottom of the display is marked “United Indurated Fibre Co., Lockport, N.Y./Patented May 25, 1886”. SIZE: 35″ t. CONDITION: The fiber composition bottle is in very good condition with original alligator-finish surfaces. The paper label shows heavy staining and paper loss. 48648-1 (1,500-3,000) – Lot 2284
