*GORGEOUS HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION FABRIQUE NATIONALE 12 GA GAME GUN.

SN 1716. Cal. 12 ga. 29-3/4″ Demi-bloc bbls with 2-3/4″ chambers. Choked Full/Full. Full length matted top rib with steel front bead and bbl marked “Fabrique Nationale d Armes de Guerre / Herstal Belgique”. Dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Blued full sidelock frame much like a Purdy funeral gun. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with 14-1/4″ LOP over checkered butt. Splinter forearm is near fully checkered in two-point pattern with Curtis push button release. Incredibly high quality eight pin sidelock with flowing border pattern engraving and case hardened screws engraved in floral pattern. Long trigger guard tang is dbl fastened and safety with gold “S” in front. Top lever with fancy “FN” monogram engraved. Weight: 7 lbs 0 oz. PROVENANCE: The William Hammond Collection. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. Bbls retain virtually all orig high quality rust-blued finish, as does frame and trigger guard with only minor toning and light rub marks. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain nearly all factory orig finish with a few minor handling marks. Brilliant shiny bores. Mechanics are very good though ejectors are slightly out of time.
