FINE & EXCEPTIONAL EYEDAZZLER NAVAJO RUG.

Circa 1900. Having three borders of black, gray & red. The bottom and top with an extra gold border. The red field having a central vertical row of repeating & connected geometric patterns in black & blue. On either side are similar rows of green & gold geometric patterns. The outside rows having smaller connected geometric patterns. The colors are bright and the rug has fine proportions. Presently mounted within a simple wood frame behind plexiglass. SIZE: Approximately 43″ x 69″. CONDITION: Very good, bottom 6″ of red background has slightly different red. Not examined out of frame. 51025-1 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 2276
