HANDEL PARROT HALL LAMP.

Handel hall lamp has obverse painted decoration of a parrot perched on a flowering plant on front and back of the globe. There are colorful painted flowers, stems and leaves extending the length of the globe on each side with painted leaves descending from top of the globe above each parrot. The painted decoration is set against a chipped ice gold iridescent background. Globe is signed on the rim “Handel 7091A”. Lamp has its original top hardware with a replacement bottom plate and original metal tassel. Lamp is suspended on a contemporary brass chain. SIZE: Globe is 9-1/2″ dia. Lamp is 22″ from bottom of tassel to top of finial. CONDITION: Glass is very good to excellent. Tassel has been wired on to bottom hardware.
