*FINE ENGLISH WILLIAM CASHMORE 12 GA BOXLOCK SHOTGUN.

SN 19172. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ bbls. 2-5/8″ chambers. Choked Imp Mod/Full. Full length matted top rib with ivory front bead and marked “Wm Cashmore. Maker. Birmingham”. Blued dbl triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock checkered in two-point pattern with gold shield near toe and 14-1/8″ LOP over hardened Silver’s type pad. Buttstock is of beautifully figured English Walnut. Splinter forearm with Deeley release and steel tip checkered in two-point pattern. Greener crossbolt. Frame is nicely scroll engraved with about 50% coverage and marked “Wm Cashmore” on both sides. Weight: 6 lbs. 12 oz. Bbls retains 80% of an older restored blued finish. Buttstock and forearm are excellent and retain most of an old restored finish with scattered light handling marks. Receiver retains approx 35% orig case color. Bottom screws with restored blue and trigger plate restored at the time the bbls were restored. Trigger guard retains approx 30% orig blued finish.
