HANDEL REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP.

Handel reverse painted shade has dense forest scene with pine trees surrounding the entire shade with small openings occurring in areas, one in which you view a full moon. The night time scene shows mostly outlines and shadows as if you were in the dense forest looking out to the moon. Shade has chipped ice texture on exterior. Marked on the interior “Pat. Pend. 6482”. Shade rests on a bulbous Handel base with vertical columns surrounding the body of the base which is topped with a copper tone three-light cluster and heat cap. Base is signed on the side with impressed block letters “Handel” and also has a cloth tag on the bottom “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 22-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base has a soft texture as if sandblasted with a dull greenish color remnants of copper tone in crevasses. 5-68507 (5,000-7,000) – Lot 2261
