Red background with multi-colored letters. 3) Climax by Lorillard Company. Background looks like a plug of tobacco with a yellow band and red letters on lid. 4) Bootjack Plug “Best Chew on Earth”. An aluminum box with embossed letters otherwise features no color. 5) Autoslice Plug Tin from Cincinnati Tobacco Company. Red background with gold banner and multi-color letters for auto. 6) J.G. Gills Best Slice Plug, Richmond, VA. A cream color background with vignette of a pretty girl. 7) Piper Heidsick Chewing Tobacco. Blue background with raised relief figure of champagne bottle and gold lettering. 8) Cupid Bouquet by Buchmar Tobacco Company, New York. Otherwise generally excellent. 5) Top with strong paint and only minor signs of wear. Sides and bottom show a greater degree of wear and handling. 6) The color is bright. Generally very good to excellent. 7) Top generally very good. Shows minor handling. 8) Lid with scattered teeny losses and shows some handling. 9) Colors faded on lid.
