AMPHORA ART NOUVEAU VASE.

Amphora vase has decorated foot with iris buds and leaves surrounding edge. Base supports large body of vase which is decorated on the sides with molded and applied iris leaves. Lip of vase is made up of large iris petals. An Art Nouveau maiden rests against an iris flower, looking down at dragonflies caught in a spider’s web. Vase is finished in shades of green. Unsigned, incised on underside with initials. First initial we cannot discern, but the second is “G”. SIZE: 21-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 50501-174 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 2246
