C MYRON CLARK (American, 1858-1925) USS CONSTITUTION.

Large oil on canvas nautical scene shows the constitution in full sail sailing right to left through choppy seas under blue and white cloud sky. Signed lower right “C. Myron Clark”, housed in a fine modern shell decorated gilt frame, having a gilt title plaque. Accompanying the painting are three red wax personal seals circa 1812 of Commodore Isaac Hull (March 9, 1773 – February 13, 1843) past commander of the USS Constitution. Housed in a small wood frame behind glass. SIZE: 33″ x 26-1/4″. Overall 40″ x 33″. Seals: 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ overall. CONDITION: Very good with some minor touch up.
