SN 8552. Cal. 10 bore. Made in 1877. 2-5/8″ Chambers. Striking 30″ skelp Damascus bbls have makers name on top. Top lever action with bar locks is nicely scroll engraved and has some vignettes of game and dogs. Nicely figured walnut straight stock has steel buttplate. Forend attaches with side nail. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Ray Ordorica. CONDITION: Very fine as partially refurbished. Bbls have nearly all of their excellent re-brown. Action and locks have traces of color. Rebounding locks are by Stanton. A large dutchman had been added to the stock in the distant past to give a semi-pistol grip. This was removed by Ray Ordorica to restore the original straight grip.
