First half 20th Century. Four rows of eleven guls on a brick red field within a main border of tarantula pattern guls, each end with midnight blue and ivory latticework; all of typical form. SIZE: 6′ 9″ x 10′ 2″. PROVENANCE: Maralyn Young estate, Arundel/Falmouth Maine, being sold unreserved. CONDITION: The rug with even wear throughout, retains strong color with a good even pile. With losses to end fringe and small losses to selvedge, fringe loss continuing to outer guard border in some areas, otherwise good overall. 51412-58 (800-1,200) – Lot 2234
