DENTIST CARVED WOOD TOOTH TRADE SIGN.

Wonderful early carved figural molar dentist trade sign lettered “Teeth Extracted 25cts.” and “Artificial Teeth Without Plates”. Top portion of the tooth retains its original gilt surface simulating a gold crown. Lower portion has multiple layers of old paint with some traces of red telegraphing through. Tooth is constructed from four carved blocks of wood joined with wood dowels and set with wood wedges. At some point in its life this tooth saw use as a cobbler’s bench with associated wear to top surface. SIZE: 11″ w x 16″ h x 11″ d.
