SALESMAN SAMPLE OR PATENT MODEL WAGON.

Miniature all-brass model of a horse drawn wagon base. Four red spoked wheels support an elaborate framework. Accompanied by original patent paperwork with embossed seal from the U.S. Patent Office picturing and detailing the wagon. The patent was issued to John S. Whitehill of Westchester, Pennsylvania dated January 8, 1862. SIZE: 18” l(including tow bar). CONDITION: Generally very good with scattered paint chips to red spokes.
