REMINGTON VEST POCKET PISTOL NO. 1 A.K.A. “SAW HANDLE DERINGER”.

SN 927. Cal. 22RF. 3-1/4″ bbl. Full nickel finish. 2-pc walnut grips. Pistol is unmarked with the exception of the SN being stamped on the left inside of the grip frame which is correct for early models. SN is also written in pencil on the inside of each grip. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Pistol retains nearly all of the orig nickel finish that has dulled with age with minuscule handling marks overall. Bore is frosty with strong rifling and some stains. Hammer and trigger show a considerable amount of blue finish,as do the frame screws and the grip screw. Grips are very fine and retain nearly all of the varnish finish with only minuscule handling marks. A very fine Remington Vest Pocket Pistol that would be hard to improve upon. 51641-23 TEP (1,000-1,500) – Lot 2218
