JALLOT ART NOUVEAU CARVED SIDE TABLE.Circa 1900 by Leon Jallot, France. Rectangular molded top above a conforming bowed frieze carved with poppies terminating in foliate vinery at the corners, raised on molded outswept legs terminating in sabots. Note: A similar table is illustrated in The Paris Salons 1895-1915, Vol III: Furniture by Alastair Duncan, see page 305 (Living Room Furniture, walnut; La Societe des Artistes Decorateurs, 1907).
