ENGRAVED REMINGTON VEST POCKET PISTOL WITH 2-PC IVORY GRIPS.SN 434. Cal. 22RF. 3-1/4″ rnd bbl. Full nickel finish. Punch dot engraved in a scroll and walking line motif. SN is stamped on the right inside of grip frame. Pistol is otherwise unmarked which is correct for early models. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. Pistol retains 90%+ of the nickel finish that has dulled somewhat with age. Engraving is of the punch dot style and nicely accomplished. SN is clear. Hammer and trigger show a blue brown patina. Trigger shows traces of fire blue. Grips are very good, have shrunk slightly, and show some light scratch marks overall. Grips have a deep yellow patina.
