Circa 1823, Scandinavia. The handle in the form of a pair of carved horses with notch carved accoutrements. The board decorated with three carved rondels, each with multiple pointed flower heads. Paint-decorated with the initials “BKPD” above “Ano 1823″ in red ochre paint, all within a carved notched border. Original green and red ochre paint. SIZE: Overall 23″ l x 5” w.
