REMINGTON VEST POCKET PISTOL NO. 1 A.K.A. “SAW HANDLE DERINGER”.

SN 260. Cal. .22 RF. 3-1/4″ bbl, full nickel finish, 2-pc Mother-of-Pearl grips. Pistol is totally unmarked with the exception of the SN being stamped on the right side of the grip frame under the grip. This is correct for early production pistols. PROVENANCE: Bruce Burtner Collection. CONDITION: Very fine. Pistol retains almost all of the orig nickel finish with only slight scratches overall. There is 1 small dent on the left side of the muzzle. Front sight is full sized. Bore is bright with clear rifling and appears un-fired. Hammer, trigger and grip screw retain nearly all of the fire blue finish. Frame pins and screws also show considerable blue. An extremely fine Remington Vest Pocket pistol that would be very difficult to improve upon. 51641-24 TEP (1,250-1,750) – Lot 2213
